Family Health

Last week my older son Aidan turned 3 and my youngest son Shane will be turning one on Sunday. As I looked back and reflected on the past year for them and the milestones that they reached I couldn't help but realize all of the wonderful transformations I've experienced too. This blog is a dedication to my amazing children, my greatest teachers and inspiration for the work that I do. My husband David encouraged me to leave my prior career in the pharmaceutical industry and start my own business as a nutritionist and integrative health coach to help empower people to live happier and healthier lives.

So how did I get here? For me my journey with health and nutrition started over 10 years ago when I became a registered dietitian. A decade later while I was on maternity leave I decided to enroll in a program at The Institute For Integrative Nutrition, Columbia University. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to bring my knowledge to another level, and create a healthier home for my family. I didn't realize at the time that this would be the catalyst for my future career as an integrative nutritionist and life coach.
